The Infrared Data Transfer Module is designed to transmit and receive RS-232C Serial data between Analyzers, and/or PCs where conventional cables can not be used. This device is especially well suited for use in rotary line type applications. The recommended transmission range is from 0 to 3 feet.
To complement this device, Dynalab Analyzers offer a special RS-232C communication enhancement to correct any data errors due to IR beam obstructions.
